Default The debates should be like pop quizzes.

This shouldn't be allowed...of anyone. If they are supposed to be ready on day 1, they should be able to debate at a moment's notice. I say the commission in charge of these debates should tell them that they will be told 24 hours in advance before the debates happen, but they will not be told what the debate will be on. That way, we see their true and honest beliefs and responses.

What do you think? Is that fair?

I would say that, technically, the Veeps don't need to be 'ready' until day 2! I whole heartedly agree with you on this one. There shouldn't be any debate preps allowed. Too bad we don't make the rules.

I say all debates be given at 3:00AM with only a phone call and 15minutes of preparation.

I agree. i think there should be no prep time for the debates. I also think there should be more of them. The questions should also be random and covering many different topics in one debate.

Definately. Debates should be about getting a real idea of the candidates, their positions and abilities...if its all a staged act that objective vanishes.
