Fox News--October 15, 2004.
Bush's support & coalition: Well, some countries have stated who they want to win the U.S. Presidential election. Russia & Israel have thrown their support to President Bush. Now this should make everyone happy, because they are both very powerful countries, & can help on the war on terror. And we also have 30 other countries that are already in Iraq supporting our efforts. Kerry's support & coalition are: France, Germany, Spain, Canada, Syria, & Iran. The countries that don't do anything anyway, or are considered a problem. So if you want to keep the 30 member coalition with Russia & Israel at our backs. VOTE FOR PRESIDENT BUSH. If you want Kerry's 6 country coalition, that will never help out anyway? And also, noting that all the insults & degredations that Kerry as stated about our present coalition. That they would probably leave, if he is elected. Statements like "The coalition of the bribed & coherced." And of course, come to join me for the "wrong war, at the wrong time & the wrong place." IF YOU WANT THIS, THEN VOTE FOR JOHN KERRY. IT'S YOUR CHOICE ON ELECTION DAY. |

And to be honest, I wish it had gone the other way. I think among the so called "allies" the United States has, Russia is by far the worst. They are socialistic and brutal. The whole Chechen problem could have been avoided long ago, but they refuse to withdraw their troops and make any accomadations. At least the United States and Israel CLAIM to be acting in self defense, the Russians just like to be brutal. |

Your wrong. The average Russian on the street thinks alot of Americans. And not it a bad way. I think that Puttin's mind has been changed a little, since terrorists, sponsored by Al Queda went into one of his grade school's & massacred over 300 people, of which 150 were kids. Puttin will stand with Bush on the war on terror. No doubt about it. |

A Gallup International poll of a few days ago found low support in the region for war, even if sanctioned by the UN - just 38% in Romania, 28% in Bulgaria and 20% in Estonia. The figure for Russia was 23%. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/2747175.stm At any rate kjs mentioned Siria, Iran and France but conveniently omited Australia, Britan, Japan, Mexico and South Korea that overwhelmingly support Kerry People in all ten countries were asked who they hoped to see win the White House on Nov. 2, and the result will make Kerry wish they had a vote. The Democrat was favored by healthy to enormous majorities in eight of the nations — 72 percent supported him compared to 16 percent for Bush in France. In South Korea, it was 68 percent for Kerry and 18 percent for Bush; in Canada, 60 percent to 20 percent; in Spain, 58 percent to 13 percent; 54 percent to 28 percent in Australia and 50 percent to 22 percent in Britain. Bush came out on top in Israel by a margin of 50 percent to 24 percent and in Russia, 52 percent to 48 percent. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,135545,00.html

No actually, you are presenting a manipulated image. You make it sound like that the US would lose all its allies if Kerry is elected. But I don't see the Netherlands packing their stuff in Iraq just because Kerry sets foot in the White House, same goes for Australia etcetera. I can't even imagine that Russia and Israel would be less willing to work with Kerry. Have you got some sort of independent source that the support for the US would disappear when Kerry sets foot in Office? Take your time.

no one in Russia or Isreal would care if I like Putin or Rabid. It would not affect their elections what I cared. Therefore my very thoughtful and balanced conclusion is "WHO CARES" what Russia or Israel thinks. |
