It seems every day you pick different standard to judge by. Don't you get it? We are making fun of you and your poll references! |

Unless of course you want to remind me of a president who was re-elected with job-approval below 50% one week before the election.

Ah, poor form. I believe insulting your fellow posters is against the rules.
As far as your question, I believe you are looking for a historical parallel that does not apply to our current situation. |

I know, very few of you have enough intelligence to argue. Let alone knowledge.
Beating a bunch of brainwashed and clueless republicans in an argument is a major fun, at least till November 2nd I am glad you're conceding though and pretending that it was all a joke...when you have absolutely nothing to say. Unless of course you can remind me of a president with job approval below 50% who was re-elected.

Oh my...
Yes, I was deadly serious when I started this thread. Hence me making the 'Ken Lay is going to have a stroke.' statement. When in fact I was refering to so much polling data for you to post and use was probably going to be too much for you. A gold mine if you will. Besides Ken, you prove nothing. Other than you can cut and paste and search the internet better and faster than anyone else. way to go!!!! you're so much better than everyone else!!! |

Ken, I'm always suspicious when you post some data without a link. The intrade site is really quite interesting. Did you notice that Bush.Florida futures have leveled out at over 60? I do hope that's indicative as I don't see how Kerry can win without Florida.

Colorado and Nevada seem to be in play too. Both Bush's states in 2000. Did you ever catch me lying? Don't confuse me with kjs. Anyway what link did I miss? If it was intrade - you already found it.

I think Kerry has a better chance of taking Florida than Ohio. New Hampshire's not a given for Kerry either. Even PA could go to Bush if enough Nader voters get mad at Kerry and vote Bush.
I don't think we've ever agreed on anything, Ken. BUT, I think we can agree that enough states are so close that an October surprise could mean an electoral landslide for somebody. To tell you the truth, I hope it's an electoral landslide no matter who wins. I can't take a prolonged torturous recount.
