Default To GOP folks who don't want to pay taxes:

That's fine if you don't want to contribute to America, but just do the following in return:

- Don't use OUR (the taxpayers) roads.
- Don't use our water system.
- Don't call the police.
- Don't call the fire department.
- Don't invest in the stock market (since corporations make a profit only because of the protection of the military and courts that we payed for).
- Don't start a business (because you're taking advantage of government protection that you don't want to pay for).
- Don't buy property (again, that property is defended by police and military that I gladly payed for).
- Don't live in my country that I paid to make nice and secure with my taxes.

If you don't want to contribute to our nation, THEN GET OUT!

I, for one, know that to have a free-market, you need a government with court system and a military to protect private assets. If you don't want to pay the government to do these things for you, then LEAVE!

The GOP thinks getting rid of taxes is the solution to everything. But a free market economy needs strong government protection. And that is expensive. So if you don't want to pay for it, move to a nation without strong security and courts.

Let's make it clear: if the GOP supporters had there way and eliminated all taxes, we would descend into third-world nation status.

Obama believes in free market. But he also knows, unlike McCain and the GOP, that protecting a free market is necessary for it to exist. And who do we tax? We tax those who benefit most from the protection. People like me who own property and stock owe the most to the government. We are benefiting more than anyone from the protection that we pay for.

obama doesn't want to increase taxes for any of those things and i'm pretty sure he wants to decrease the militaries budget. he wants to increase taxes for his new policies like the global povert act and social health care. i'm pretty sure republicans don't want anything to do with his policies.

don't let obama fool you on who will be taxed. it will be you as always. your paycheck may not reflect the damage on taxes, but it will be there at the gas pump, in the super market, and even in the unemployment line because you've been layed off.

your hatred for those of a different political view is really unfortunate. i for example, disagree with many democrats, but i do not hate them. you on the other hand want people who disagree with you to leave the country because their presence offends you, that is unamerican in almost every way.

This post is out right stupid. It shows that you clearly don't understand what conservatism is about. We know that you have to pay taxes. No one is disputing that. What I object to is tax rates above 30% on any American. Especially when there are so many wasteful spending projects enacted by the government. I don't mind paying for roads and the police. I do mind paying for projects that study the DNA of squirrels.

But the Dems claim it's only Republicans who are the evil rich. And since it's the rich who pay most of the federal taxes in this country, then I'd say we've done MORE than our fair share.

since us "rich" Republicans are the ones paying most of the taxes we are the ones who should be using the road. get out of my way liberal mooches.

other than the stockmarket republicans are for paying taxes for those services.

this is just an ignorant thread, this guy knows nothing about republicans and consertatives.

My favorite question goes to you. How much did you pay in income tax for last year?
Did you get a refund? Did you get a stimulas check??

I do not think anyone doesn't want to pay the needed taxes to run those things you mentioned. what people complain about is unneeded taxes for unneeded items
