Katie Couric is not known for asking the toughest of questions, but in questioning Joe Biden it becomes clear he is a complete idiot with no knowledge of history.

Franklin Roosevelt got on television when the stock market crashed in 1929? Are you kidding me???

I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't want a guy a heartbeat away from the Presidency who doesn't know simple 5th grade history. Why Obama didn't vet this guy is beyond me. I guess he was just happy to be recognized as being the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.

Ah yes, why am I not surprised that nobody reads a thread simply entitled "Biden"

More proof that nobody cares about the guy -- he's a bit like the fat kid in Stand by Me -- good for a few laughs, but doesn't really add much to the story.

Personally, I think it's pretty funny that you are able to throw Biden entirely under the bus for such a simple, stupid gaffe. He's got more background in foreign policy than McCain, Obama and that stupid woman that got yanked onto the national stage.

I watched his recent interview on Meet the Press. You can watch the entirety of each show online at their website. He gave a very impressive interview there. This is a very strong person.

So, I guess we don't agree.

I don't know that you can draw such a comparison between Biden and McCain, but I'll agree he has more background in foreign policy (and probably every other area) than either Obama or Pelosi.
