Default Question For McCain Supporters..

If Bush were elligible for a third term and it were Bush vs. Obama would you still be voting against Obama in favor of Bush.

The reaon I ask is that Im new to all of this. Im ashamed to say that Im 36 years old and never really gave a cr@p about all of this stuff. I always viewed politicians as all the same..power hungry liars...But the debacle that is G. W. Bush really got me thinking and worrying how certain people can get elected into the White House. I have really been getting into it this time around and have obsessively been doing my research.

Anyway, back to my point...would you vote again for Bush just because your a Republican, therefore making yourself believe that he would be the superior cadidate because he too is a Republican...I know that there are many studied folks out there who are die hard Republicans or Die Hard democrats for whatever reason. But I wonder how many vote for the given candidate just because that person has the same party affiliation..and how many vote on the true character of the person...I just dont see why one would want to be labeled one or another, when at any given election either party could have the superior candidate..

I would vote for a third Nixon term over Obama.

McCain is awful. Obama is doom.

I would vote for Bush because:

*He understands the threat our enemies are to the US

*In 03, he tried to warn us about the potential collapse of Fanny and Freddy

*He doesn't want Al Gore as one of his advisors

*He gets the whole "supply and demand" thing when it comes to oil.

These are just a few. Don't get me wrong, Im not a Bush cheerleader, he's done alot of fumbling, but is clearly the lesser of 2 evils when compared to Obama, IMHO.

That's what we're all here for, to speak our minds. Only the actions of our politicians can change my mind.

Richard "price-control" Nixon?!?

He was more of a socialist than Obama, and more of a disaster than Carter, as it was his economically idiotic policies that caused a large part of the economic woes of the Carter administration, though Carter's policies did do additional damage.

I'd take Bush over McCain, over Obama, over Nixon...............and I hate Bush. This is not a fun election.

OMG, he's very likely to go down in history as one of the 3 worst presidents EVER! And you'd vote for him again? WOW, that is incredible. Fortunately for you, there is only 27% of polled people in this country that agree with you, and I guarantee you that number is generous.

The question was would I vote for Bush if he was running against Obama. In that situation, I would vote for him.

And I know this may sound wierd and mysterous to you, BTeam, but I don't vote according to what polls say.
