Default Have "Economic Terrorists" been in charge for eight years?

Yes the famous Republican claim that "America has been kept safe since 9-11" is no longer a valid claim. I have heard many people claiming that this current economic situation is being referred to as an "ECONOMC PEARL HARBOR".

What would people call these tatics used by the Republicans to plunder America during the last eight years..7 1/2 during wartime?

The Bush Administration along with John McCain, Knowing full well the deteriorating condition of our economy have over time done everything they could to create this situation and adsolutely ZERO to abate the situation. All for the sake of the rich getting richer. Using their unchecked power to make certain people rich. Putting America's WELL BEING where?
Certainly "COUNTRY FIRST" was not the issue for these people. At least not the country I want.

Six years of unmonitored, unregulated FRENZY FEEDING. With no allowed oversight what so ever. The Republicans, Including John McCain, found themselves in the position of power and had two choices, during wartime, to either conduct themselves in a way that HELPS America or conduct themselves in a way that HURTS America. There is not anything that is panning out from the Republican controll of anything that shows anything but the the fact that Republicans used their position of power to HURT America. BY CHOICE..

They most certainly have not been looking out for the best interests of the United States.

Again..as Bush did prior the the 2004 election during his and Cheney's lying leadup to the Iraq fiasco, he jumps out and threatens America. The same fiasco that is helping to strangle our military and our economy. Bush pops out looking all flustered and threatens America with impending DOOM. or else. Does he and McCain actualy think that putting a gun to America's head AGAIN is a wise thing to do? According to Bush's and McCain's predictions shouldn't we all be eating out of soup lines by now?

The way George Bush has chosen to handle the economy after 9-11, with blatant sinister secrecy, for the sole purpose of making his rich buddies richer during a time of crisis, during a time of war is flat out irresponsible and in fact was a choice he made and one that McCain chose to support the whole way through...and he knows it.

The way this whole situation has been and continues to be used against America as a political tool, using fear as tatic, is nothing but "ECONOMIC TERRORISM" People should be going to prison. Perhaps we should list the list the "FAT CATS" that should be in prison after the ongoings of the Bush Administration? Bush, Cheney, Rove, Libby, Rumsfeld would be a good start. Never did these people think of anything but and economic gain for themselves during a time of crisis. Why is the way these people have conducted themselves any different from any other terrorist hell bent on doing America harm?

The Republicans can no longer claim that we have not been attacked again since 9-11.

Could it be that Osama Bin Laden knew as he was planning the 9-11 attacks that he could use George Bush as a Economic TERROR TOOL? To attack and threaten his own country using fear as a tatic. Knowing that he could count of George Bush and the Republicans, in the aftermath of 9-11, to ignore the economic needs of his country and focus on making his rich buddies richer? Knowing full well that Bush would focus his entire attention and our ailing economy on IRAQ?

DO WE ALL FEEL SAFE NOW??

As much as I don't agree with Bush, I genuinely think that he wanted better for America. I honestly don't think that even the republican run congress was out to get us as terrorists are.

Why was McCain on TV threatening Americans today..saying if congress doesn't act properly (repubs in congress) then we can look forword to nothing but DISASTER?

Why is this any different from the way Bush and Cheney act??

Then, apparently Obama is acting like them as well. Because he said pretty much the same thing today:

"This is what we need to do right now, to prevent the possibility of a crisis turning into a catastrophe." Barack Obama, Oct 1, 2008

I personally do not agree with the Bail out..I feel there are many other options that can be used that doesn't take advantage of taxpayers..They got themselves in trouble, they should get themselves out...and Bush and McCain should swing in the wind.

Politisizing 9-11 for deceptive monitary gain is disgusting.

Default No Change..

I see no change with McSame...

Could he manage to stand before the Senate and give any kind of reassuring message to the American people yesterday...NO..but he did manage to jump on TV and threaten all of us with impending disaster..sounds just like a Bush tatic to me.

Did Obama speak before the Senate...Yes..

To bad McCain had to have his message delivered by carrier pigeon..Obama on the other hand had the guts to stand before his fellow Senators and look them in the eye.

Were economic terrorists at the helm duiring Bill Clinton's administrations? They allowed the Enron scandal, the worldcom scandal, and the problems that lead to the bursting of the tech bubble!!!

Yes you're right there was a Republican controlled congress and Senate during the entire Clinton Administration.
