All right, Chesty responded after I personally asked him too, I feel honor bound to do the same.
Gimme a second. :: tresha seen slugging back a few shots of Bushmills, fine Irish whisky, taking a deeeeep toke on a home rolled substance and getting more coffee :: Okay, here we go. John McCain and Sarah Palin represent what is best about this country and what is best for this country. Senator McCain has served in public office honorably and well for over two decades. He has always positioned himself to fight for the freedoms and liberties we all enjoy in this great land. Senator McCain also knows personally what it means to sacrifice for his ideals. He served honorably in Vietnam, was shot down and spent 5 and half years in a hell hole, being tortured, because when his nation called, he heeded that call. He has years of experience working with Republicans and Democrats and bringing both sides together for the good of the nation; as Commander-in-Chief, this skill would be put to the ultimate good use. He has shown his willingness to buck the system time and time again in his public service career; but no more so than when he decided that Sarah Palin was the leader he and America needed by his side in the White House. Sarah Palin knows a thing or two about adversity and about living American family values. She has always endeavored to put family first, while serving the great people of Alaska, first as Mayor and currently as Governor. She brings a fresh view to what has often been called the Washington gridlock and doesn't hesitate to call foul on policies being implemented simply because "that's how we've always done it." She knows what is near and dear to a mother's heart and America can be comforted by knowing she is there in DC to represent the great unheard voices of our land. McCain/Palin 2008

This entire post was very well done, thank you for being the only Conservative to do this thread right.
My turn! __________________________________________________ McCain/Palin is the best choice for America. McCain has vast amounts of Senate experience and has been in a war, not to mention he is a POW. I believe this will help him as a President because he knows what goes on behind the scenes. I have often thought that a good boss is the kind that works his way up the ranks, as apposed to jumping in with both feet. Palin will make an excellent VP. She will be able to immerse herself in Washington and use the 4 years under McCain to prepare for the 2012 Election. It is my understanding that McCain will not me running again after this Election. Palin will be able to utilize the 4 years to get the vast amounts of foreign policy, and travel, experience she needs, and be able to win in 2012. Mostly, I am grateful that McCain wants for regulate the Financial industry. This is actually not a Republican view, in my opinion; Republicans have commonly been against Government interventionism. But, I think he recognized the mistake he made in allowing deregulation, and is willing to admit that and fix the problem.

That's ok though, you did good. Even a Republican can make a mistake once in a while

I think McCain and Palin would be good for this country because domestically, they will cut spending. People need to learn to live within their means, and that means even this country, too. It's going to be painful, but it needs to get done. Internationally, Palin brings a certain softness that would be helpful for the way the world views us.
Now I have to go take a shower.

I tried twice. I can't do it. Not because I won't, I just literally seem to lack the capability. I think I even threw up in my mouth a bit.
Kudos to those who gave it a try and did well at it too!

Get in the shower with him. Reach around...I mean, reach across the aisle.
