Default Democrats May Get Veto-Proof Majority

With 23 of the 35 Senate seats up for election this season being Republican seats, the Democratic majority in the Senate may grow to 60 seats. This would give Democrats a veto-proof majority, the first for either party in 30 years. Source: Truly Newsworthy, www.TrulyNewsworthy.com.

This could either be amazing or disasterous. It will be interesting to see if they can get those numbers come election day.

Nobody deserves blanket control. But it'll be fun for a while, trying to undo the mess republicans have made of everything, and sticking true American justice back in their faces.
I believe the Dems will reverse this kind of ultra control once things are better and citizens fully realize what crooks republicans are and how far they are willing to go to ruin America.

I believe that if the Dems get a veto-proof majority in the Senate that the conservatives will do one of two things - retake control of the GOP from the neo-cons or start a viable third party. Either one will be good for America IMO.

The Dems are to blame too. but I will guess that they will abuse it and fall out of power in 2 years

This is the worst thing that can happen, in my opinion. If they all go unchecked, greed can easily take hold.

I'm all about getting the dumb ass neo-cons out of the way. Sounds good to me!

Yes greed can easily take hold can't it? Six years of zero oversight in the Bush administration sure did prove this point.
