I am not holding either Obama or McCain responsible for the actions of people who happen to support them, when those actions occur halfway across the country. I do not hold Obama or McCain responsible, for instance, for the behavior of their supporters on this forum.

What I *have* criticized McCain/Palin for is actions that occurred at official campaign press rallies, in the *presence* of the candidates, in *direct response* to what the candidates were saying -- and which the candidates failed to respond to.

If I hear about the same thing happening at an Obama rally, I'll criticize that, too.

This was not at a rally, which means it is more mainstream on the street.

Notice how your cronies here on this site have taken it 1 step further and basically are calling for her rape now:

How does this make anyone sexist. If Palin were male it wouls not change that point of view an idiot is an idiot no matter what gender they are. Just because the C word was used does not make it sexist at all. It is just a term. I happen to like the word. There is a book by that title that is very good. It is about feminism. I think instead of threads like this McCain people need to head back to the issues. It is just to bad that John doesn't offer any solutions to the problems since his party is the problem.
