Default Endorsing a Candidate? Nearly 250 Retired Admirals/Generals for McCain

Let me start by simply stating that nearly 250 retired generals and admirals from around the country are endorsing John McCain for president. If you would like to see the endorsement letter with signatures please visit:

Senior Military Officers for McCain

Let me also re-state that I still stand by my words in a closed thread that if you make your decision to vote for either candidate based on an endorsement for that candidate by a politician, actor or other noted personality; then you have usurped your freedom to vote. It is no different than being in a third world country where you vote in free elections at gun point!

I know too many college age youth who are voting for one candidate just because it seems like that is what everybody else is doing. If that isn't ignorance I don't know what is.

This show the respect the Military has for McCain. It also shows the lack of respect to Obama which he clearly hasn't earned.

McCain, R-Ariz., handily defeated Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., 68 percent to 23 percent in a voluntary survey of 4,293 active-duty, National Guard and reserve subscribers and former subscribers to Army Times, Navy Times, Marine Corps Times and Air Force Times.
