Default Against freedom of speech & political freedoms

Yeah....how about that. The owner told Schilling he couldn't go campaign for Pres. Bush. He shut him right up. And yet.....today the owner of the Red Sox was out campaigning for Kerry. If you are OWNED by a Democrat in this country...you WILL shut the "f" up and do as you're told, by God!

What a shame. Dems are worse than dictators. Next they'll be cutting tongues out.

Default Why do you pretend?

Yeah, that's the ticket MaryBeth. They were just tring to protect him from his own political freedoms and his own freedom of speech.

Why is it Dems PRETEND to be for such freedoms...when they really are not?

But in all fairness not all dems are like this...only about 75% of them.

Default Wow, the Red Sox owners support Kerry

while the Ace of the Red Sox pitching staff and the leader of the team endorses Bush. Who is gonna have the bigger impact?

Also, this shows a big difference between Democrats and Republicans. A bunch of millionare aristocrats endorse Kerry, a billionare aristocrat. And an "average Joe" athelete who made it big by making something of himself endorses Bush. Who do you think people will trust more?

Default SCHILLING SHILLED FOR W IN OHIO TODAY SO WHAT

Does anyone have any documented proof that the REDSox management gagged Schilling ? That would not only be wrong but maybe illegal. Anyways, baseball management trying to control a player, what a novel idea !!!!

Schilling shilled for W in OHIO, so what!! Does that mean that the "gag order " has been lifted ? W should have stuck with Johnny Bench since bench was much better known in Ohio as a player for the Cincinnati Reds.

Did anyone actually care ?
