Default How McCain Plans To Screw You On Health Care ('More Tax - Less Benefits' Plan)

These words are from Douglas Holtz-Eakin. If the name sounds familiar to some of you, it's because he's McPain's senior economic policy adviser. Here he is talking about the employer-sponsored healthcare system:

"Why would they leave?" said Holtz-Eakin. "What they are getting from their employer is way better than what they could get with the credit."

Got that? Indeed, employer-based healthcare is better, because at least there, you can't be denied coverage due to a preexisting condition. Except McCain himself is not promoting employer-based care, and in fact, does nothing to change that system. Instead, he is giving you a "credit" to hunt for health care on the open free-market system. Of course, the credit isn't enough to buy a decent health care plan, even for the young and healthy. McCain's plan doesn't do away with employer-based health care plan, because then no one would have adequate and affordable coverage! Here's the caveat:

Sleazy John McCain however, for the first time in history, will TAX any benefits you get through your employer based health care - without giving you anything in return! That's worse than "socialism"! Worse than any kind of tax increase from Obama!

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the question of WHY would anybody vote for a president who is planning take American's FAILED health care system and not improve it, but make it WORSE!!?

Yeah - you, me and the most of America.

Hell, even the U.S. Chamber of Commerce called McCain's destructive health policy "the end of employer provided health coverage." AND, the NFIB stated that his plan would be the worst choice for those working for small businesses (read: most Americans).

Where has the media been on this?

Remember they are all in the tank for Obama. Whats really sad is that is own campaign came out and admitted that his plan sucks. It does nothing for the cost of health care, nor does it even touch prescription prices that are completely out of control. This is one of the many reasons i couldn't vote for McCain.
