But, I was really hoping that Erskine would win. I'm a little sour-faced that Richard Burr won, and with that there's a huge Republican majority in the Senate now.
I'm rather annoyed, because Burr isn't exactly pro-women's rights, after all, he does want to cut some funding for breast cancer, and other things. I was astonished that such a close race ended up being all for Burr in the end... (Conspiracy! *snickers*) Does anyone have the Rep/Dem/Ind count in the Senate and House currently? |

I am a friend of Richard Burr and many other politicians, both dems and repubs, and you are OWEFULLY misinformed... Burr has done more for breast cancer patients in NC than nearly any other politician in NC... THAT little lie by Bowles did more to sink his battleship than any commercial linking him to Clinton.... Yet again, Democrat lies, vitriol, and distortion did them in....
