...so its not that Blacks or Latinos or Asians are not capable of governing and running America. You would rather be governed by Caucasians simply because they are the majority.

Not because they're the majority, but because they're like me.

I suspect most other people feel the same way...that's why most black-majority nations are ruled by blacks, most yellow-majority nations ruled by yellows, etc.

I think this is something that gets down to trust. If there were more black people or asians etc in power, would you trust that they would not subjugate you or oppress you, because they are American? Or do you think that they would oppress you because they are of color or a differnt background American citizenship notwithstanding?

Or, is it more a matter of being represented by someone who you feel understands you better?

Depends on the person. I wouldn't want to live under most of them.
