Propaganda is supposed to have a purpose. Its not like Al Gore is trying to use global scare tactics to get elected, because hes not running. Of course you would accuse him of such if he were running. If you really think this is propaganda, explain why...give reasons. If there is not larger goal behind it then the worst you can honestly call it is wrong. Propaganda implies much more.

Typical right wing mudslinging to no apparent end...
ima gonna start a thread on the police state you live in mr mercury lover.

so what? I never mentioned travolta in any of my posts. If this is a "there is a person I don't like who agrees with you, therefore your argument has no merit post" then just (*)(*)(*)(*) off. I'm tired of you right wingers posting pointless crap disgusted as argument.

You don't have to agree with the points I make in my posts, but at least I put forward arguments relevant to the thread and back them up unlike most people here.

Mudslinging!? How can you say that when I haven't answered you yet? Seriously though, if Global Warming was really being caused by Humans, why do you think it is imperative for the right wing politicians to want to cover-up something so monumental and important? You're probably going to say because they want to protect the oil companies. This is of no consequence. Oil companies will always exist and expand as long as the oil on this planet lasts, period.

The truth is it is propaganda and there's a lot to gain from fooling people into believing that Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is causing Global Warming. If you listen to everything Gore says, he is blatantly using this stunt to attack private industries instead of suggesting rational ways to deal with the co2 in the atmosphere. As everyone knows, The american oil companies are closely aligned with the Republican Party and are a big portion of their contribution income. It's apparant to me he's trying to help his party by shrinking the revenue gap between them. As you know, the Republican Party has far more money to run on and recieve than the Democratic Party does. This could be one of the main reasons. But this is propaganda and he is lying to you. Another reason you know this is a lie by what they do is because Gore stated in the movie that combating Global warming will create jobs. That's nonsense especially when you look at his vision. It would expand the government and attack private industry. Some solution there. Another example of Democrats and their big government. Another reason you can tell is he hardly mentions the alternate points and things of argument. He won't debate them which makes him look less sincere. Also, another thing about this stupid topic is the Ozone Layer. Remember that crock? They ran around yelling at people that the ozone layer was thinning and we were all going to be dead. This happened when the world was probably excreting more c02 than it is now. It turned out to be nonesense and the (*)(*)(*)(*) scientists didn't even come out to admit they were wrong and apologize. They just gave up on it. I emphatically believe that the theory that Global Warming is caused by CO2 is a huge lie. I believe it's the sun that's causing the earth to get warmer and believe it has always been the sun. The earth is too (*)(*)(*)(*) big for us little things to effect its climate. And what does that mean anyway? That we are going to prevent the next ice-age because we drive cars? Because of us, ice-ages will cease to exist? That's really stupid. It must be the sun and there's much more evidence of that.

Thats not a scientific argument, its what you want to be true.
There are six billion of us, and we already have started affecting it.

No, and over-population isn't just a function of numbers, its also about consumption by individuals. I am countering his claim that "us little things" can't affect the environment. We can when there are a lot of us, and many of us use too many resources.
