I think we should be excercising caution, even if climate warming has not been definitively proved. Even if climate warming is just a theory, if there is enough evidence supporting it that it may have a significant chance of having validity, I think it still warrants preventative action. Better to take the chance to be inconvenienced over nothing than to take the risk that our future generations will suffer. But that does not mean we should be going to extreme measures like banning normal incandescent light bulbs!

That is why i promote the planting of trees.

In my country it would put people back to work, reduce the heat island effect and help to reverse the growth of deserts.

But instead i get involved in a pis(*)ing contest on semantics. Such as acidification vs neutralization and thermometers.

I also endorse carbon capture in soil. Building up the soil would only make it more productive.

I have always held the idea that in order to sustain you have to give back.

Failure of northern ice albedo is a tipping point, to runaway global warming. Don't butcher the quote and forget what I wrote. You wouldn't happen to be able to produce a link or a graph, which shows solar intensity or sunspots, would you?

I'd go get one, but I'm not even sure what you need to know, since you whacked the quote and made a leap, to a question, which shows you aren't sure how you want to fail, here.

FYI: The game we are in, today is we are out-gassing GHGs, faster than before any of the 5 previous mass extinctions or the PETM extinction, 56 m.y.a.

Stop folloiwing science and substituting definitions of physics and chemistry with twistied semantics of science and you will avoid the pain. This thread shouldn't continue, forever. The only posts against warrming or AGW or "alarmists" are the poorest quality rants, without links or coherent references, to any popular or peer-reviewed media.

Warming would not be about to go runaway, unless the greenhouse effect is causing the warming.

Warming would not be a problem, but deniers won't admit warming is happening, in a way, which will make the already evident climate change and Mass Extinction Event 6 worse, so nobody gets to attack the warming OR the climate change OR the extinction event, with any sort of concise, public media. Confusion reigns, thanks to deniers and their redundant straw-man rants and to gridlock engineers, who propose ineffective carbon credits and fracking, which is like playing with the AIDS epidemic, by keeping HIV-infested bath-houses open, for profiteers.

Fudd's OP failed, since another thread on Richard Muller's advocacy of a Charles Koch-funded dataset indicates global warming is a human responsibility, back to the 1700s. This is without spelling, 'C-H-A-I-N-S-A-W-S,' for those so deeply confused, they don't grok what happens, when humans do all of emitting GHGs, pollute, cut CO2 respiration, and trigger out-gassing, of more GHGs.

The OP is toast. All that is left are straw-man rants or Inquisitor's incredibly poor posts, which are probably deliberately irrational. Deniers are not skeptics, and deniers have FAILED. Get back to work on something.
