Default Sunni anger spills into the streets

It looks like it's started. Could anybody tell me why Our Brave troops are dying for this cause?

Default ?

You were getting worried, weren't you? You DO understand, don't you, why some Sunni's might be upset? It's because they were the privileged under Saddam Hussein and that's no longer the case.

Come on - those crazy B__tards run through the streets and protest for anything and everything. The U.S. is fighting to establish a stable democratic arab state to change (greatly for the better) the strategic situation in the middle east.

now I consider myself thoroughly educated on the one reason the sunni's are angry. I was so worried that this wasn't going to happen it was just going to ruin my whole year if this troubling event didn't occur. Just posting the facts missy. Got a problem with that?

Do you think that there going to take Bush's taunt of "BRING IT ON" quite literally?

At least you are finally admitting it. Thats a good first step.

It is irrelevant to me either way; our response should be the same whether they do or not.

maybe it is relevant to those who have to deal with it. But we know that neither you nor Bush, nor Condi for that matter have to deal with it.

well the sunni's aren't really worried about their loss of power so much as...

not believing they will get a fair share in the government
not a fair share in the oil
that the shias will trample on their minority status
that the US will establish permanent bases
that the shias will massacre the sunnies as soon as they are given a chance

The alternative is worse, so they will have to find a way to deal with it. Not every problam has a perfect solution.

I dont have to deal with rape or child molestation or divorce either...does that mean I should have input regarding laws that affect those things?

I am affected by inaction. Defense is an issue that affects all Americans.

Default CNN this morning

Iraqis are concerned because this "rush to execute" looks more and more like revenge than punishment.

Kinda odd when compared to Ford pardoning Nixon who paid a political price for it at the time but now appears to have done the right thing.

The new Iraqui leader rushed to execute (before the Kurds could have their day in court) and is now paying a political and probably life threatening price for it.
