well the sunni's aren't really worried about their loss of power so much as...
not believing they will get a fair share in the government not a fair share in the oil that the shias will trample on their minority status that the US will establish permanent bases that the shias will massacre the sunnies as soon as they are given a chance |

Iraqis are concerned because this "rush to execute" looks more and more like revenge than punishment.
Kinda odd when compared to Ford pardoning Nixon who paid a political price for it at the time but now appears to have done the right thing. The new Iraqui leader rushed to execute (before the Kurds could have their day in court) and is now paying a political and probably life threatening price for it. |
