Prominent Israeli Rabbi Calls for Annihilation of Arabs

This story was carried, with sensational headlines, by all the Mainstream Media in the U.S. Oh no, I'm sorry, that's what would have happened if an Arab leader had said something similar about Israelis...

Hmm, the spiritual leader of Shas. That's not really very prominant is it?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Shas has not been in government for years.

Correct me if I am also wrong, but didn't those remarks result in a fierce backlash reducing Shas' support still further?

And are you not going back 6 years to find any evidence of a semi well known Israeli holding no officially sanctioned position saying something racist against Arabs?

Now lets compare this to the Palestinians and the Arab world.

Hamas was elected leader of the Palestinian people by popular majority. Their official charter calls not just for the destruction of Israel but the genocide of every single Jew. On TV every day children are being urged to hate Jews and other infidels, seek genocide and kill themselves to kill Jews or infidels. I do not know of one official Palestinan Authority appointed cleric, Hamas or Fatah, who has not said that it is a religious obligation to murder Jews, "the cursed race, the enemies of Allah, the decendants of monkeys and pigs". Such hate and despicable racism that is so bad that it is not possible to imagine how terrible it is until you hear it has its stench on almost every aspect of Palestinian society. And it is also quite prominant in other Muslim states, especially Iran, Syria, Lebanon and just about every other country where a Muslim crowd has obeyed their commandments to shout, as a prayer to Allah and to express how great he and his rules are, "Death to America, Death to Israel".

You could also talk about the Israeli suicide shooter who killed Israeli Arabs before getting lynched by a mob. But you would then have to point out that that person was not able to find any graveyard (including all settler graveyards) willing to take that person's body in despite it being a religious obligation to bury a body within a day of death.

Now we go to the Palestinians. They get a suicide bomber. There is a huge picture of that person in every newspaper under the headline "Myrter". This is followed by a huge funeral. The family gets congratulated and the mother often throws sweets in celebration. Streets and schools are then named in their honour.

You want to talk about racism and hate. Talk about that.

(Setting aside the fact that this rabbi is a lone ranger, while hateful rhetoric of this kind can be found in the majority of mosques)...Here a main difference...

The comments were answered with outrage and condemnation by his own people. Something we've yet to see with the Muslim population and their hate sermons.

Truthbringer not being truthful ? Amazing. This bringer of truth is so set in the notion that Israel is to blame for the Palestinian situation and wars that she lets her hypothesis lead her data. This borders on lies by omission.
