My bad, I have issues with the UN. Do we even have resources to help if the Balkans slide back into war? Sad that most people in the US probably wouldn't support intervention for humanitarian and security reasons because of the last several years in Iraq...

The best chance for peace over Kosovo may be Serbia's desire to be in the European Union. If they start another war over Kosovo they'll be booted out so fast they won't know what kicked them.

Serbia had to be stopped. If any of you would have been part of IFOR and/or SFOR like I was, you may know a thing or two about it...

As far as the last comment: "Nothing got solved" goes, that is complete non-sense. Croatia and Bosnia now live in peace. Their population is not subject to constant threat of ethnic cleansing, serbian snipers shooting up market places, getting their houses boogie trapped etc.etc.

Kosovo is an issue in itself and has no historical right for independence like Croatia and Bosnia did have.

Let me think about the Nothing got solved quote.... What exactly got solved in recent history in Iraq??? For all I can tell, it is more of a quagmire now than it was. Before you had 1 loonie. Now you can't even figure out who the loonie is.... one head or nine? I think one may just have been better.
