Quotes Used Effectively

I'm going to build a shrine to him in my front yard this week.

After recovering from shock and climbing back into my chair, I would want to reply to their post to offer my appreciation. So, I click the quote button on the bottom right of their post and their complete quote would appear in my text entry box. I would notice that the open quote command would appear in their quote before their text. I would also notice their close quote command would appear.

I would first hi-light and copy the open quote command.

Oh, Repatic813, I should have noted that you have to click on the word quote next to someone's post before you do anything else. Try quoting this post, for example.

[color=blue]Well, you had one extra open command there. Did you notice an extra command sticking out there all by itself?

The program was looking for the end color command which was left bracket/slash/color/right bracket.

If you use the preview button, this would leap out at you and you could go back and edit the post before submitting.
