Editing is not allowed, sorry :(
When we created this forum, we decided to purposely not allow users to edit their posts. This is because, as a politically-oriented website, we want your words and everyone else's words to stay as they are once posted. No taking back what you say, rewriting things so that the thread doesn't make sense, etc. In order to make the posting process easier for everyone, we added the "Preview" and "SpelChek" buttons. I almost always at least preview my posts before actually submitting. Its simple to do and if you find problems then you can correct them before anything is posted for everyone else to see. But once you hit "Submit" you need to understand that its going to be there that way from now on. If you ever have anything very significant to edit (bad links, etc.), you can write us via the forum or at webmaster at politicalforum dot com and we'll try to make the change when we can. But minor misspellings and grammatically errors can be corrected by the preview function before submit. You end up reading your post anyway once you submit it (apparently) so why not just use the preview in the first place? This is one thing we don't plan allowing now or in the future. We may or may not allow mods, once chosen, to edit posts either. We're still taking things slowly with this forum letting it sort of become its own thing while we work out the kinks and add new features.
