The word quelch isn't a word, Einstein. You're repeating a word you've heard other, smarter people say, and misspelling it. The word is SQUELCH, it is a verb, and it means to silence or to squash.

People who have actually obtained a good education, are highly paid, and are well-traveled know words like this. We don't even have to use a dictionary to look them up.

Though, if I may say so, a dictionary should be your first purchase, before drinks in the pub.

you dont get it...im just overwhelming you with trivia and facts...i wasnt seeking Quell or Quelle at all...quelch was the word I wanted. What dont you get? OH, I forgot, it's my grammar.
