The Albanian can hopefully fill us in but I think they call themselves shqiptars, or just Albanians.

The Serb use of the word being a variant on it that is used in a derogatory manner. Much as in the US the words N***o and N****r from other languages. Neither of which was origionally an insult.

But now I have to blank out most of the letters since I doubt the whole word will get through the language filter.

Republic of Kosovo is a country which unilaterally declared independence and is not recognized by UN as an independent country. Therefore, it deserves no right to exist within the detail settings of this or any other political forum. Kosovo doesn't even have the majority within the international community (in terms of recognizing it as a country)

State of Palestine is recognized by 100 countries, why doesn't it exist? Because those countries that recognized Palestine are muslim?

Don't apply double standards! If you want this forum to be international (not only US policy based) - then revert such an option.

Thank you.
IMO, the UN is a pointless organization whose judgements [made by arab fascist and 3rd world africans] shouldn't mean j-ack sh-t. Sorry to be frank.

Heh heh, I just saw this thread. Very amusing.

Um...through what, fairy magic? I'm not a moderator. I don't have the power to introduce anything more than you do.

This is an American forum though. So it makes sense that the admin would list all the nations recognized by the US.

Quote:
I clearly recall Sadistic and his boasting concerning how he "did the new Kosovo flag".
You recall correctly. But I didnt actually change anything. All I did was post a picture. You could do the exact same thing I did.

Quote:
If the site moderator did it, then I urge him to undo the decision, as it is incompatible with international law.
That is one of the most unintentionally funny things I have ever seen posted on this forum.

I don't believe the site owner is subordinate to international law on this issue, heh heh

Listen, man: it is 21th century now, not 1776. A country is a country if it is a member of UN.
Apparently not. Taiwan isn't recognized by the UN for example, but we deal with them as a nation all the time.

Quote:
Palestine is recognized by more countries than Kosovo.
Source please. Do you have actual evidence that more nations recognize Palestine as a nation than Kosovo?

Quote:
Why isn't Palestine within the detail settings?
If what you say is true, it should be. But I am guessing it is not.

And of course the US does not recognize Palestine as a nation. That might be another reason. My personal opinion is that it should be in the settings.

Quote:
The world has changed since 18th century, if you haven't noticed. After WW2 mankind established international mechanisms and empowered them to decide which country is a country and which is not.
Um...why? What exactly gives the UN that authority?

Quote:
Kosovo is not a country, it is an integral part of Serbia. Period.
You have been overruled by the US. Period.

Quote:
Thanks for the support, Fascist!
Oh the irony.

It doesn't surprise me at all that you people ally with an avowed fascist.

Quote:
The flag, on the other hand, is the symbol of statehood.
The flag is just an avatar...nothing more. Having an American Flag as your avatar doesn't mean you suddenly have the right to vote in America...gimme a break. You are making way too much of that post.

Him: Listen, man: it is 21th century now, not 1776.

21th?
Heh heh....maybe he has a speech impediment. Or maybe I'm not the only gay man on this forum.

American people are so well educated. Some of those who haven't played basketball in college perhaps have knowledge of geography and history. At least the basic things.
Just curious...How many of the Worlds top 100 universities are in Serbia?

Well, he should be!

Exactly the same thing will happen to Kosovo. But Kosovo is not even far from Taiwan in terms of economy. It's the poorest region of Europe with the highest percent of crime. Taiwan doesn't need recognized statehood as Kosovo does, because Taiwan doesn't depend on international credits as Kosovo will.

Hahaha, good try. Gay? Me? Are you crazy?

This is an attempt of gay parade in Belgrade. The football fans messed things up.

It's been less than a month, since Kosova declared independence. One can't expect things to change over a night, but they will, slowly but surely. The Republic of Kosova is a country with new opportunities. Foreign companies will invest, and not only them, but also Albanians from the Diaspora. Kosova is also very rich in minerals, and has excellent agricultural land. So it has a great chance to be a prosperous country, and it will, slowly but surely.

there is no doubt about it.

Serbia will always be lagging behind us......

Our real war is purely economical, making sure we overcome the initial obstacles, which we did with the Independence.
Now, we are unstoppable. Economy will be booming in the Republic of Kosova very soon and we will reach the top list of countries with the highest GDP....

Not only me is optimistic but even my friends from neighboring countries such as FYROM, Greece, Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia and even Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The estimate value of minerals is approximately 3.9 trillion dollars according to the Mineralogy Institute of Prishtina.
I can't recall the year, I believe it was 1997, when the German Intelligence published a long document obtained from Belgrade, showing the minerals and the value of it. It was a top-secret document.
Serbia still believes in a possible implementations of colonialism on neighboring countries by using ethnic cleansing and mass-murdering innocent humans policies similar to those of Adolf Hitler's.

Serbian politicians, inspired by Hitlers book, Main Kamf- The final solution on exterminating Jews, they wrote a similar book on Exterminating Albanians. The author was Vaso Cubrilovic - The final solution on annihilating Albanians.
