No consistency in application of insults rule

T-B. I don't know why you pretend that "Einstein" and "your master" are not insults. The intent is quite clear and you know it. Catz made 3 edits to your post and did not in the slightest change any part of the substance. The post was improved by the edits. A simple condescending tone is not the reason for the edits either. We have gone round and round about this, and you simply don't seem to be able to help throwing in an insult when it's completely unnecessary and unproductive - in fact, they detract from your argument every single time.

No, I don't know it. That's your opinion. Not proof. See what I mean?

Again, this doesn't change the fact that months of posting the exact same comments went untouched. Not a complaint, not a word. Why? Because it's really a joke to consider such things as insults. And now, bam, suddenly they're all insults. It's not consistent, and that's my point. You know you can't argue that it is a consistent application of the rules. You simply make excuses about opinions, time constraints, etc. I just think it's ridiculous.

Here's a thread where I used the description Einstein in which you, JP5 and raytri had all posted on. No edit was made.

And here's another thread where you posted AFTER I used the Einstein description on the same page and did not edit it as an insult.

TB, i especially liked this in the second link your provided ... following the Einstein comment:

as you have may have read, i too, have expressed concern about the uneven moderation. and i am delighted we have an open opportunity to air our objections to perceived uneven or inappropriate edits. sometimes i think the site is moderated with the same standards governing the 'fair and balanced' comments on faux news

but

being a sports official by avocation, i am subjected to similar criticism. i know i am not going to make every call correctly. some calls i am going to miss. others i am going to ignore because there was no advantage/disadvantage resulting from the violation. while we have established rules, how they are enforced varies from official to official. some new referees suck on their whistle and are afraid to make a call. others whistle everything they see and some things they are not sure of but guess were infractions. a few, usually quickly weeded out, have little experience with such authority and abuse it in the belief that if they do not use their newfound power they don't have it. but generally, the calls balance out. i probably officated a game well if both teams are pissed at me. i know i did when the losing team tells me "good game". so we have aired our grievances and let's now give the mods a chance to call a good game

It doesn't take an Einstein to figure out that you are over-using the word 'Einstein'.
