PMs are working again, server still limping

Recently some of you may have noticed this site being offline now and then over the last couple of days. We encountered a major hardware failure of a hard drive on our server that did not directly affect PoliticalForum.com's data, but it did crash the server. We've got things working ok for now but there may still be interruptions as we reboot the machine. Until we can get the hardware replaced these problems may continue but we're trying to keep this site going as much as possible. Please accept our apologies as we're trying to do our best to repair things.

In case the server goes down while you're trying to make a post, you may consider copying your message text to your clipboard just to be safe before clicking 'Submit'. Depending upon how your browser's caching is set, if our site goes offline then you submit it, you may lose your message when you go back on your browser.

Which threads? They may have simply been moved to a more appropriate category.

Thank you for your response. Specifically the topic was "Kerry's Goal" disappeared - It's not in the main forum with the 'moved' indicator - so it looks as though its disappeared

There are numerous threads posted daily in "Current Events" that are neither "current" or "events", they are simply moved to a more relevant category.

Look around, or do a search, chances are that it has only been moved. All moved threads aren't given a shadow as it would spam up the "Current Events" too easily.
