Default Some suggestions...

Paint Shop Pro is a good software package for manipulating picture files, but it's kinda pricey.

Here's a link for a program you can download (free) that resizes images, I haven't used it much yet but have been pretty impressed with it so far (can't beat the price):

http://www.acumensystems.com/mir/download.html

Another link that might have some useful info:

Hope this helps.

Default Thanks, but....

I was kinda looking for someone to give ma a tutorial on resizing. I am unable to download programs on to my work computer. I hope that Imaging or Paint will work, as those are the only two picture manipulation programs on the computer.

Default Paint 'll work

I recommend that you'd open two windows of paint, makes the job easier.
Have one with the wanted avatar, the other window with a blank one.

With the blank one, select the Image option from the top and choose Attributes. (or use the Ctrl + E shortcut)
There make the settings as follows:
100 height, 120 width (the largest allowed dimensions for avatars)

After pressing OK it should resize to the desired size.

Now the next part is crude, but I'm not sure how to do it better with paint. (I'm sure Adobe Photoshop can do it better)
Go back to the other open paint window, the one with your wanted avatar. Using either Select All (ctrl + A) or by selecting yourself, you should shrink the size of the avatar to a size that you believe would fit in the 100 x 120 one.
Then copy this image and paste it in the 100 x 120 one. Be sure that it does not expand the boundaries of the 100 x 120 one (You can use the Attributes to check if it did).
If it is too large, then try to shrink the avatar again and try again. Using trial and error it should eventually succeed. If the shrunken avatar was too small, you can enlargen it more to try and better fiit the 100 x 120 'frames'.

I hope this is understandable. It is easier than it sounds, PM me if you want more detailed help. I've done the same before using this method and it works.
