The way we moderate is constantly in flux and is based on how the board is going at any particular moment in time. Sometimes we just need to be stricter. We know that can be frustrating to posters, but the ultimate goal is to make the board the best it can be. To that end, if you think something needs to change or we really screwed up let us know. We may decide you are wrong, but bring it up anyway! But if we decide you are right we are more than happy to correct ourselves.

And that sort of honesty is quite refreshing.

Yes, we got pissed, but it's hard to stay pissed at people who are honestly trying to do the right thing, even if the execution sometimes goes awry.

I love those comedy sketches from Dave Chapelle as much as the next person but wtf? That was lame. Insulting here is highly polished. That simply wasn't up to par.

That wasn't an insult, just a joke. If you can't laugh at yourself, even after I have said that I thought you had your heart in the right place and gave you and other mods props for trying to fix things, then you need to lighten up.

You made a mistake merging the threads. It wasn't malicious, so laugh about it, and move on.
