It's been real, but unfortunately this place has been declining for awhile. Specifically, there has been a great increase in low-level lib posters, but more significantly there's been lately a rapid deterioration in moderating - it used to be just an annoyance and inconsistent, now it is an interference that ranges from capricious to bizarre. Like a control-freak football official who calls a foul every other play. There are some good moderators here, and a very few good liberal debaters, notably Raytri and Javablack, but unfortunately they are far from typical.

To conservatives who remain, continue the good fight, here and where ever the road of life (and the internet) takes you.

Really? I've been here for years, and the moderation has never been better. I like the new influx of users here...this board has never seen 1200 posts a day until recently.
