May I ask you all a question, the following 2 sentences, which one is more offensive and insulting?

1. Where did you get this ugly face as your avator? Is that you or someone else? You sure are ugly.

2. People like me? You don't know a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing thing about me so don't presume to.

Guess what I don't care if you think I'm guilty of anything, you are about as important to me as the dump I flushed this morning

Heh heh, that has got to go into the Quotable Quotes thread. I dont know if that is the most unintentionally funniest quote ever on this forum, but it has got to be in the top 10.

He probably has spent a large portion of his income on enlargement tools from late night television and seen no results.

If the person leaving it suffers from constipation the dump could in fact be very important to the one leaving it. So you may in fact offer that person relief and a feeling of well-being.

Either way you look at it, I would be offended that the person leaving the insult lacked the insight and education to leave a quality insult.

The first one was from me, noticing someone using an urgly oriental face as his avator, I founded very offensive and I was pretty straight forwad and uneducated by asking him:

1. Where did you get this ugly face as your avator? Is that you or someone else? You sure are ugly.

Then of course my beloved site moderator: Metrophobe sent me a gift from heaven.

Later I apologized to this person:

Sorry, early in another thread I made a comment about your ugly avatar and got an infraction from the site moderator, I apologize and I hope your avatar really don't represent you. Sorry.
[Again, very uneducated and straight forward.]

Then he replied:
The wind just changed and i was stuck!

So I replied:
It is you.

Then he sent me a personal message which prooves that he is not an asian.

You were offended by an avatar that you presume is meant to offend Asian people. Pretty much every thread on this forum has something in it that will offend someone for some reason. It's hilarious that you only find injustice when you perceive yourself to be the target. What do you honestly expect us to do to enforce a level of protecting people's feelings like you are requesting? It's a frigging political forum; there'd be nothing left, a carcass of a site. You're here to get your toes stepped on and your opinions tested, that's what's fun about the place.

The difference between the sentences you provided is that yours attacks a user specifically, the other does not. End of issue. Not rocket science. This is why you and I PM'd back and forth about your infraction. You explained why it upset you, I sympathized and explained why you got the infraction. What more do you want? Do your want your poop to give you a big hug and a little pat on the back? Perhaps a high-five? Buck up.

You claimed that you want to be fair and I don't see that in you.

What I want to know is that why didn't you send the person who wrote the second sentence a note and delete his post too? I found that your treatment is unfair. And when is the word Ugly becoming so offensive to you? What about (*)(*)(*)(*) and "the dump I flushed this morning". As a member of this site, I have the right toa ask a person why he cohose the avator which is so offensive and racist, don't I? Why should I back off if I see someone is insulkting my race, wouldn't you?
