I like this place, and I saw that there was a way to donate money, so I did.

But, I also noticed that many people have "DONOR" below their names. Does this mean they are set up for consistent donations, or...?

Also, when do those green reputation marks appear beneath your name? I think I have four now.

Here I was holding back on being a donor for fear there might be some issues with motility due to my advancing years.

It means they donated their brain. You can usually tell by reading their posts.

If you really want to know...those of us who have 'donor' under our names means we have contributed financially to this forum.

You get a new green blobby when you get 100? rep points, and a new blobby for every next 100 rep points. You can check your rep points by clicking on the scales that is above your username.

It means your bank account is now marked to donate $1000 every month for the rest of your life - in lieu, you can chose to sit in a sealed room and listen to The Pogues for 6 weeks. Either way - you are now screwed
