are you saying the mod had no legitimate reason to remove your insult or that there was no insult?

I'm not quibbling with the removal I'm quibbling with the manner of the edit.
There is no reasons for mods to be editing posts and then inserting language that totally changes the context of the comments that where made or at worse is used to say things that have nothing to do with the subject.

I appreciate you posting the hyperlink to the post you had edited, but... there are over 50 boards on this forum and I'd kinda like to read the posts immediately preceeding and following your post - just to get the context of the situation, qithout having to play "Post, post, where's the post?"

With that being said, if what you say is true and correct - and I have no reason to doubt it is - then that's inexcusable IMHO.

When I see it done to others I find it pathetic and I think it says more of the mod then the poster being screwed with.

That thread was starting to devolve into a little hissy fit. Normally, I wouldn't do that, but because of the downward spiral of the thread, I wanted to get your attention, without actually issuing infractions, and I did.

I actually agree with DuH2 here. I believe insults can be censored or removed but mods putting in their own words. A mod here changed the words around when I called some one dishonest. I have called many people here dishonest before, at least 50 times. I find it odd that this one time it was removed and altered by a mod.
