Default What happens to bans when the site goes down?

If someone is banned and the site is down most of the day, do people's bans get extended by a day? Just asking....not planning to get banned or nothin' like that.

Default I'm not sure...

I'm not able to give you a definitive answer since mods don't have any administrative experience, powers, duties, or expertise in that area.

I would assume that the admin would simply restart from the time the problem arose. Therefore the existing timestamps would be the same, etc... and the ban would finish as the software allows. That is, if it were a one day ban, and the site went down for a day, the next day the ban would be lifted.

I'm guessing a 24 hour ban would last for 24 hours despite the site being down. In essence we were ALL banned for almost a day beginning last night.

If you have a more specific question I will do my best to answer it. Perhaps if you PMed me with it?

I hope this helps in some small way.

It's okay Senax. I was being silly with the question. Thanks for being earnest trying to answer.
