I can't believe a topic on the despicable treatment of a transsexual person by those who are supposed to serve and protect has descended into this, something completely irrelevant... But as I can't just leave absurd claims such as these unanswered ill bite...

That's quite the assumption. You contend that the self-depreciative behaviour is caused by the attraction to their own gender and not the awful social conditions and legal discrimination they are constantly exposed to?

Homosexuals are also prone to extreme narcisism, which would explain why they are constantly seeking attention by behaving inappropriately.

Some gay men are perhaps more image conscious because they seek the attention of men, who I believe tend to judge more by looks (both gay and straight men) - which would explain why women are far more as you would say "narcissistic".

Lesbians on the other hand in my experiences are less image conscious than straight women, and more similar to straight men in that regard - because women by and large aren't as judgemental IMO.

These are of course just my opinions based on personal experience but I believe they explain this kind of behaviour. Gay men aren't inherently narcissistic, it's just a learned behaviour based on social expectations and "laws of attraction".

And, btw, here is a list of organisations that disagree with your characterisation of homosexuality:

American Medical Association, American Psychological Association, American Anthropological Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, Child Welfare League of America, National Association of Social Workers, North American Council on Adoptable Children, American Psychoanalytic Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, Council on Child and Adolescent Health, American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, American Counseling Association, American Sociological Association, American School Health Association, National Association of School Psychologists, not to mention countless universities, local governments, labor unions, and virtually every human rights organization that exists.

If this was criminal the DA would be prosecuting

As i said in the main section, do you honestly think the guy was cuffed that way for 28 straight hours????

I said there was a link. I did not say there was a direct cause-and-effect relationship between the two. This is either a false assumption on your part, or a deliberate attempt to mis-represent my position.

Furthermore, your argument that intolerance is to blame has already been discredited by studies that show equally high levels of drug abuse and promiscuity in Dutch homosexuals. Even though that country is by far the most tolerant, and legal discrimination is non-existent.




Why do Dutch homosexuals continue to display a high rate of self-destructive behavior, when they don't face any of the discrimination or prejudice you mention?

I suspect that deep down, homosexuals are just as uncomfortable with their condition as those around them, and that's why they abuse their bodies, the same as any other person who suffers from issues that affect their self esteem.

And your statement that homosexuality is just another "variant of human sexuality" is a monstrous lie. I mean really, in what other universe are you going to find grown men parading around in feather boa's, leather chaps and lingerie? Sure the gay "pride" parade is good for a few laughs, but you have to feel some pity for these people who abuse their bodies with drugs and disgrace themselves in this manner.

The clinical definition of narcisism has nothing to do with excessive concern over one's appearance. It is synonymous with selfishness.

And your inference that gay men have high standards when it comes to finding other gay men to have sex with is ludicrous. If you haven't noticed, these people are anything but discriminate in their sexual encounters. That's why they're dropping like flies from AIDS.

of course you have to investigate...........a complaint was made. One side of the story is all which was posted and made to sound as if the man was in that position for 28 straight hours.

If the accusations are unfounded, and it's more about hurt feelings, I hope he and his lawyer spend a few weeks in jail for nuisance and wasting taxpayer dollars.
