How about making sense and basing your commentary upon 'reality'? (It might help.)

Homosexuals have more health issues than even those other minority groups who have suffered much more harassment.

Reality: There is no gay gene.

Reality: Nobody is born with ANY sexual preference (babies are not sexual)... infact, at birth, our brains are only 1/4 developed, so we can better adapt to environmental influences - again supporting the fact that homosexual PREFERENCES are indeed learned preferences, not inborn.

Reality: The APA changed the definition of homosexuality, not because of scientific research, but because of gay lobbyist harrassment.

Reality: Anatomically... the anus is an exit - not an entrance. When it is used as an entrance, as in anal sex, even in 2 healthy adults, there are risks of anal fissures, bacterial infection, anal cancer & colon rupture.

Reality: Those with same-sex preferences already have marriage rights under cohabitation agreements & common law marriage. The only reason to try to legally change the definition of marriage to include sexual deviations, is to legally force society to honor their sexual deviations.

Reality: In places where gay marriage has been made legal, others' rights have been infringed upon...

    IE's:
*Freshmen were told not to tell their parents about a pro-gay seminar & were required to sign a confidentiality agreement (Derrfield, Illinois Mar. 2007).
*In March, 2007, a Massachusetts high school banned parents from attending a seminar for students on how they can know they are homosexual.
*In October, 2008, First graders (6 year-old students) were taken on a field trip to watch their lesbian teacher's wedding.
*In Oct 2008, a Hayward CA public elementary school celebrated "Coming Out Day."

Normalizing & even encouraging children to explore homosexuality obviously causes more to experiment with homosexuality.
"The Legal Liability Associated with Homosexuality Education in Schools... This report is part of an integrated strategy to inform and educate parents, students and school officials across the nation of its contents and of their respective rights and duties. It has documented the concern that the health of students in many schools across the country may have been compromised and their First Amendment rights may have been denied."

Also, others' rights have been infringed upon in favor of supporting gay rights.
*In April 2008, an Albuquerque photographer was fined over $6,000 for refusing to be hired to photograph a lesbian couple's commitment ceremony.
*In May, 2008, a black administrator was fired from the U of Toledo, Ohio, for writing an editorial objecting to the comparison of black discrimination to same-sex marriage.
*An intolerant opponent of Proposition 8 even violently attacked & injured a Proposition supporter in Oct. 2008.
*On November 19, 2008, eHarmony, a Christian-based matching service was forced by New Jersey's Division on Civil Rights to provide website matching services for homosexuals.

When such a small percentage of the population demands legal special attention and priviledges, for engaging in harmful behavior, it must be considered for the reality of which it is.

All the more reason to suppor them instead of pushing the behavior underground, where it develops into a dangerous subculture.
Reality: There is no gay gene.
Those who speak of a "gay gene" often have a simplistic understanding of genetics, or are using the term broadly because they don't feel like getting into the complexities. The jury's not out on the case in any event. Nor does something have to be strictly "genetic" to be biological, congenital, and inflexible.

Reality: Nobody is born with ANY sexual preference (babies are not sexual)... infact, at birth, our brains are only 1/4 developed, so we can better adapt to environmental influences - again supporting the fact that homosexual PREFERENCES are indeed learned preferences, not inborn.
You might think this would result in more homosexuals growing up in gay-friendly countries vs gay-intolerant ones.... yet this isn't the case. Young in most animal species are non-sexual until a certain age, that doesn't stop them from preferring heterosexuality the vast majority of the time... we have biological drives for that purpose. Male and female brains DO develop differently, and respond differently to different stimuli, and the differentiation starts well before birth. And there is evidence of brain and behavior differentiation in heterosexuals vs homosexuals:

    http://viewzone2.com/homosexual.html
With advances in laboratory technology, a specific region of the hypothalamus, called the sexually dimorphic nucleus (SDN), has been the focus of some interesting research. The SDN is the most conspicuous anatomical male/female difference in the mammalian brain. The nuclei is 3 to 8 times larger in males than in females. Another nuclei of the hypothalamus, INAH-3, reveals that heterosexual males have double the volume of both homosexual and female subjects.

Reality: The APA changed the definition of homosexuality, not because of scientific research, but because of gay lobbyist harrassment.

It helped get the question on the table, no doubt, but there was discussion and research on the topic leading up to that decision as well, research that favored homosexuals.

Reality: Anatomically... the anus is an exit - not an entrance. When it is used as an entrance, as in anal sex, even in 2 healthy adults, there are risks of anal fissures, bacterial infection, anal cancer & colon rupture.
Lesbian's have the least risk of STD's and other health issues over all, so are you saying all women should be lesbians? And not all gay men have anal sex.

Reality: Those with same-sex preferences already have marriage rights under cohabitation agreements & common law marriage. The only reason to try to legally change the definition of marriage to include sexual deviations, is to legally force society to honor their sexual deviations.
Is that kinda like forcing the Catholic Church to honor the marriage of people who were previously divorced, or mormons to honor the marriage of those who were not sealed in the temple?

You're free to disagree with anyone's marriage, that doesn't mean you can stop from getting a civil marriage without good cause.

Tangental topics that have more to do with what society can and can't legislate, not so much to do with homosexuality itself. Discrimination and the over-stepping of bounds can happen on all sides.
True knowledge exists in being aware of what you don't know.
