It defies common sense to think that replacing a mother or a father, which both bring unique strengths and capabilities to the child raising effort, will be as effective for raising good citizens as a normal family. Therefore, you must have positive evidence that it does produce good citizens at an equal or higher rate of success than normal families. The burden of evidence is on you since it is already happening, unfortunately, and because it is you who want to gamble children's development on your unproven assertion that it is just as good for children to radically change how they are raised. My understanding of this is that there is more "experimentation" by children of homosexual families, but that ultimately the ratios of heterosexuals to homosexuals between gay families and straight families is not different by any standard of statistical significance.
