To an extent I'd suggest we permit courting, that is to say if someone below eighteen wants to marry someone eighteen or over, they'll need parental or legal guardian's consent.

And if someone's crazy enough to marry a horse then let them, they're apparently crazy bastards who are stuck sleeping with a horse anyway. Might as well humor them..

And more power to people who can handle a polygamus relationship. I can barely handle one girl. Let alone three or more.. Cause you know when not everyone is sastisfied, little cliques start to form, and that's no fun for you.
As long there is consent between two people, anything should be game. I don't give a crap.

Obviously beastiality doesn't fall under that catagory because the animal can't possibly give consent.

Sense when did Americans give a crap about consent?

We don't consent to getting aborted by our evil mothers...
We don't consent to taxation...
We don't consent to police searches...
We don't consent to the laws we have to follow...

But yet magically through the eyes of a liberal it's all about consent. Lalala consent consent consent. When we can barely even move without the government sticking a nightstick up our ass...

You give consent by working a legit job.

You give consent by living here. And by committing criminal acts. It is worse in other countries. If you think that there should be no police searches then elect someone that will write a law making them illegal.

You give consent by electing the government officials that write the laws.

I'm not a liberal for one.

Secondly, two people that want to engage in a legal contract labeling them a "married couple", can do so as long as there is consent. Otherwise, who in the heck are you to tell me who I can and can't marry?

Of course we don't consent to the above. That's why I'm against them for the most part.

You're comparing apples to oranges. Marriage is nothing more than a glorified contract. Nothing you've listed there is a contract, so consent isn't required. Unless you're talking about a broader contract with the government, in which case you give consent by being here. If you don't consent to that contract, feel free to revoke your citizenship anytime.

You are referring to the social contract I pressume. Of course, none of us have signed it. I don't think simply being here means obliging by the merits within it.

That being said, if I am giving my money to the government, shouldn't I consent to every bit of money they take from me?

In a sense you are. You are consenting by appointing those who chose how to spend it.

Yea, real easy to pick up and leave. Not to mention most countries are like that, if not worse.
