After so long of arguing people who use God to justify their own selfish beliefs, I am writing this against Christianity and why it is wrong.

To begin on Free Will and Homosexual marriage. God gave "Man" free will. That is the first indication of why women had no rights. It said MEN had free will. Not women. That is why back in those days, Women had very few rights.
Free Will means you are free to be who and what you are. God created human beings, and bestowed this gift upon us, HIS children (remember, God is apparently a HE). But he left us 10 rules. Only 10 rules for us to follow. And they are, in the Catholic version :

1- I am the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not have strange gods before me.
2- Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
3- Remember thou keep the Sabbath Day.
4- Honor thy Father and thy Mother.
5- Thou shalt not kill.
6- Thou shalt not commit adultery.
7- Thou shalt not steal.
8- Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
9- Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife.
10- Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's goods.

All these empower god. For one, Sabbath Day, the day to Worship god. Honor Father and Mother, some parents out there are terrible, respect should be earned. Thou shall not Kill. Christianity doesnt have a problem with that *Cough*Crusades*cough*Death penalty*cough*. Adultry and Coverting Neighbours wife is the same overall thing, being faithful. Meaning to be faithful to another person. You shall not steal, yeah. Christianity has had no problem with stealing.. Afterall, Christians only attacked Jerusalem to steal it from the muslems. Thats not bad at all, right? Expecially since it was the Church that did it. Keep holy the Sabbath, No strange gods before me, and name in vain. All empowers a supreme monarchy. And like George Carlin says, Coveting items gets the capitalist economy running. Someone gets a cool new car, you want one too. It is sad when a Comedian, the meanest one, makes sense...
Now why would God, the all loving, all good, all powerful superior power who loves his children so much, give us free will? He wants us to worship him on free will? So, even though every day he ends up sending more and more of his "Children" to burn and suffer for eternity. That is loving right? Why doesnt he come down from Heaven, in his majestic being, and show us all him. Prove to us he is real? Prove to us there is a god when so many dont follow him. Does he enjoy seeing his children banished to the depths of Hell? I dont know, but that doesnt sound like love to me.
Even more, why would he plant landmines in us? Homosexuality is now proven to be from a chemical in the brain. So to me, it seems like God is treating us like test mice. Saying we have free will, and he loves us, but giving us an attraction to something he does not want. Does he want those with that chemical to suffer of not having any attraction to the opposite sex? Live alone forever? Doesnt sound like an all-loving god to me.. Why would a god give their children the one way attraction then say it is wrong? It seems he wants to use us as lab mice.
Does god enjoy having some of us go to Hell for having a simple emotion. An emotion he offers nothing to beat it. He doesn't seem to want everyone to be heterosexual, he has not done anything about it yet...

Christianity I find to be a rule out of Fear. When you hear the Biblical stories, don't they create a dark image? Lead you to believe there is darkness and evil everywhere, but he is the only redemption from it. For example, the story about the man, Jobe I think? The one who had a great perfect life. God and the Devil spoke, and the Devil said to god, that he would not worship his name if he was not so well off. So God destroyed everything of his, and put rashes and such on his body. And he still worshipped his name. And yet it continues. And it never gets better for him. Does this sound like a loving god? Does this sound like what a God would do? And if it was true, chances are he was confused, thinking Satan was the one doing it.
God shows you how dark and evil the world is, and how much evil there is. But says if you worshp him, you will be in heaven forever. If anything is true, it is that Fear is the most persuasive thing to the human mind. And a group of guys from old times decided to use that to learn a way to control people back then.
So many stories just prove God is using fear to rule. And ruling of fear is wrong.

If God is suppost to be perfect in every way, why does he let his children burn? Why does he hurt his children? Why is he so cruel and mean to people? To me, this all proves that Christianity could have been just a group of people wanting to learn to control people. And it worked too. I myself am Agnostic. I believe if you live your life doing what you feel si right, without hurting or harming anyone, you will go to Nirvana (Heaven, Valhalla, etc, any superior ethereal plane). It all stands to make Males superior, to make people fear change, to make you waste your life on the wrong things. So before you say it is GOD who says Homosexuality, Abortion, etc is wrong, think it over. Can you speak for god? Can you be sure that that God is real? Can you really use his words? Shouldnt god speak for himself? I wrote this because I am sick and tired of people saying it is God who says Abortion adn Homosexual marriage is wrong.

If you have a problem with homosexual marriage or abortion, USE FACTS. Stop using religon from a 2000 year old book.

Even more on this. God said Evolution is false. Yet evolution is scientificly proven. The Garden of Eden, the source of all life, was suppost to be around the middle east (look at the rivers it is next to). Yet science proves the earliest human life is from Africa. So many people that surround me will back their beliefs, such as "preserving the sanctity of marriage," on religion. It makes me very angry. I encourage them all to think, and not constitute their opinions on religion, just as I encourage everybody. It also angers me when people ignore solid evidence, such as Carbon dating, and still support the creation theory.

This is why I think government should do away with marriage all together and allow everyone to have civil unions with the same legal rights as marriage. Marriage should be an institution which is strictly religious or personal, to be accepted by whoever wants to accept it.

revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
