I'm not sure how much aide comes from religious groups. I do know most relief work is done by non-religious groups, usually U.N. agencies. The WFP, UNHCR, etc. are all part of the United Nations.

I would say if missionary work was included it would be high amount, not billions for some denominations because of how much money they have to work with, donations are not always easy to get for some missionaries

Lets put it this way yes the church has failed to give its full support and needs to put forth the maximum effort in spreading the word.
