Only if suicides are counted. According to the CDC's wisquars database, 12,682 people died in 2006 of homicide and legal intervention (i.e. violence) by guns. That's 34 per day.

Yes, but that's a low number. .67 kids per 100,000 were killed by guns in the U.S. in 2006 (Wisquars database). That's 404 total. Sure it's higher, but it's not that significant.

Please give sources for the individual countries listed. It's a very vague statement to make.
