Under the law Felons loose their "right" to own firearms. Then if you let someone out of jail that is a Thief, that Thief will steal a firearm.


Makes a good argument for doing what the Saudis do...Cut off the trigger finger. See how that will work.

I can't help but think some enterprising felon would invent a way to fire a gun without a trigger. What would you cut off then?

Guns don't kill people ,people kill people.
If you took all the guns away people would still kill people just a different way.
We have a right to have guns and that is the way it should be.

If those people on that bus had weapons, maybe that boy would skill be alive.

Absolutely horrific! Incidents like that are what keep me "carryin" on a regular basis. I do feel that ALL handguns should be registered to their owners, but law-abiding citizens should absolutely have the right to posess firearms (or any lesser hand-to-hand weapons). Actually, I'd prefer to carry a collapsible baton instead of my handgun, but the baton is illegal to conceal-carry in NY, and the handgun isn't. With a stick, I could choose the lethality of my actions, with a gun all I can do is shoot center mass.

What would be accomplished by taking all guns away from law abiding citizens that purchased those weapons leagally?

As this would be the only thing that a total ban on guns would accomplish.
Removing weapons from legal owners.

Seems our founding fathers had the forsight to use the word "arms".

Take away all arms?
