I carry nothing.
Really.![]()
I am not particularly concerned with those who make bold statements about what they carry.

Well, if you're not here to join the discussion, why are you here? Just to make childish remarks about not being afraid of people who do make the decision to carry, why are you here? Why would you be afraid of them in the first place? Think they're going to spot you on the street and just gun you down because they think you MIGHT be afraid? And what is so "bold" about discussing what gun one has chosen to defend themselves with?
A 1934 Colt .45 National Match Pistol:

The gun was made specially for my father by Colt; and it was given to me on my commissioning as a Regular Army Officer. I served in Vietnam, and led men in combat; but I never felt the need for a weapon, and went about with nothing more lethal than a bamboo cane. General James Hollingsworth (“Danger 79er”), who personally awarded my commission from President Johnson, once chided me on not carrying a sidearm; to which I responded that to do so would reflect a lack of confidence in myself and my men.

This is the cane I carried in Vietnam from Hermes of Paris:
I open carry and XDm45 and depending on where I go, I will conceal carry a Ruger 380 LCP
