I just disagree with that. The sum of the facts as presented in anti gun studies do not support the argument that more guns equates to more crime. Yes they may focus on one thing or the other and yes I agree more guns = a higher homicide rate but again the guns are not legal in the hands of those most people using them.
Those perpetrating the majority of the violence in the streets are generally not even supposed to have weapons.
I will go as far to say that the preposterous number of illegally obtained in the United States does have a positive influence on the outcome of violent crimes where the crime may not have have had the same outcome if a firearm were not involved.
Now when I think about the statement I just made I must also consider the fact that most of those killed have a negative value to society and their death saves money.
