Well, I used up the last of my three permits today. I picked up a Glock 21 SF.

Nice piece. Drives nails.

You're equipping them to become violent killers.

Jones:- Well, you're equipped to be a prostitute but you're not one are you?

Yea, but the government will pursue the amending formula option if the pressure is high enough and the support exists.

So the peoples wishes, if they are strong enough, will ultimately prevail.

Yeah but Americans REALLY love their guns and a constitution is very hard to change. They would need alot more support than they have right now. You'd need a very high majority to even bring it into consideration.

Real easy. In my state, no training is required to purchase a firearm. For rifles and shotguns, you fill out a federal form and the dealer conducts an NICS check. If you answered the form correctly and passed the NICS check, you can walk out the door with your rifle and shotgun.

Handguns require a state form, the same federal form as above, a background check by the local police agency (which includes the same NICS check as above), and a 5-day waiting period.

If you have a Concealed Pistol License (CPL), the 5-day waiting period is waived and you can walk out the door with your handgun after NICS approval. It pays to have a CPL. Even a CPL doesn't require training.

You can not require training for a right. Requiring training before owning a firearm is like saying people have to recieve training before they can breathe air.

Now going back to an earlier post. How many rifles or shotguns are used in crime?
