My body guard and wife who I was refering to, is a Croatian, (croat father serb mother) in the Balkan War she lived in Drnis, when one morning she and her family woke up to the Serbian tanks and infantry on the hills above Drnis,( this was a double edged sword for them, to protect themselves from the Serb, and her mother later on from retribution from Croat nationalists) my father in law( retired submarine officer) a very brave man, (travelled into Serbia to check on his wifes family in the middle of the conflict when nothing was heard from his wifes relatives, what do you think he carried) he and his 6 huge mountain man brothers had taught my wife how to look after herself.
My brother in laws father is quite a well known Tito partisan leader (Ignatzio the Red, Tito was a Croat) still likes to dance the "Moreska" at 80+ yrs his Kalash, is kept under lock and key so the "children" do not hurt themselves! My wife is a "Bushido" proponent! strange for a women but with my mouth it keeps me safe! Last edited by B L Zeebub; 03-27-2008 at 11:36 PM. Reason: I dont know |

Is a sword a good tool? Yes. But there is one fatal flaw, it is only good within a few feet. What are you going to do when they are armed, and you are not face to face with them?

Sport of choice for Soldiers: baseball. 4. Sport of choice for Coast Guardsmen: tennis. 5. Sport of choice for Airmen: golf. Notice how the farther down the list you go, the smaller their balls get. I poses a rifle I use it to shoot hare, rabbits, phesants and pigeons that roam wild on the estate in Southern Scotland where I live. Its an old 1960's Remington Bolt-Action but it bags me plenty of game.
