As I said earlier I recently closed out my U.S. Collection (kind of, the only thing I am missing is a 249), and started up my Russian (I kind of started out odd by going AKM before AK47). But I did get a steal on a MG42 a while back, so I am looking at German weapons as well.

Sides? Not so much, I only own those for personal defense and carry.
Check out the Soviet Maks he has with no import markings.

That's impressive. That's really big $ in the Class III world. I stuck to semi-automatics after our local Sheriff stopped signing Form 4s after I bought my Uzi. I was the last one he signed. At one point I had nearly every long/bolt gun used by all combatants in WW1 &WW2, plus a really mint Garand from November of 1941 with bar-lock sights, and all date matching parts. The only mod that had been done was the small chromed square they did on the gas port hole when they went into the armory.

So lets see if I can name the American collection....

M1 Garand, M1 carbine, M1 Thompson, Browning Automatic Rifle, '03-A3 Springfield, Browning 1917, Browning M2, M3A1 Grease Gun, Reising SMG, Johnson M1941.... Am I missing any?

Roger that. I understand ya. When I started teaching my wife on different automatics, I just couldn't get used to Tap Rack Ready, it is automatic for me to put the mag in and hit the slide lock cause I use one type of pistol for use (both civ and mil), but as she carries multiple types, she needs to learn Tap Rack Ready (the (*)(*)(*)(*) slide lock on those Glocks are fricking small).

Like I said, we all have our preferences. But it does not hurt to learn. And if I were to start carrying a different side (and it will happen) I would need to learn that method. So I guess I better start learning now. You can teach an old dog new tricks. The MB proved it .
I carry Glocks quite a bit here in Florida because of the humidity and the corrosion resistance. They are also lightweight, and easy to carry. My favorite is the model 32 in .357 sig, but I recently bought a 21 slim frame that is working it's way into the rotation after I've shot it some more.

Very nice.
I may have to get hold of him then. I am always looking to make a good sale. But am unwilling to sell any of my pieces. The last piece I sold was an HK USP Tac. Kicked myself in the arse for it. Will never do it again.
(*)(*)(*)(*), I sold my HK 91, 93, 94, VP70, and a cherry P9S in .45acp. I had a factory nickel P13 at one point, and a K3 with all of the caliber conversions. I never bought any of the newer pistols, as they seemed to large in the hand, and I was a Sig fan.

You are short a few, and heavy one.

I go back a bit before the Garand (several decades before), and the Duce was and still is a Heavy Machine Gun. You are forgetting the 1903 Springfield. And while the following are not called standard issue by most, I include them in the list. M1892 Rifle (30-40 Krag), M1885 Remington-Lee (.45-70 Gov), Trapdoor, and M1863 Rifle Musket. There are some minor ones missing in between, but they really were not different weapons, more like minor changes to the weapon itself.

I could have gone all the way back to the Colt revolving rifle, but I have to wait to inherit the rifles since then. My brother gets the Henry 44-26-200. Dad says we have to fight over it.

At one time my Grandfathers collection went all the way back to the Ferguson rifle. But much of his collection was burnt up in the 30s.

Then you have the DMILed M60, and the DMILed 240. But I would like to get my hands on a Class III SAW.

Jones:- I don't see why, they'll be properly supervised on the range.

Interviewer:- Don't you admit that this is a terribly dangerous activity to be teaching children?
You're equipping them to become violent killers.

Jones:- Well, you're equipped to be a prostitute but you're not one are you?

Ahh, OK. I was just doing WW2.

The Remington Lee is impressive. You still need a Spencer, A 6mm Lee Navy, a rolling block 50/70 Springfield, and a Sharps, just off the top of my head.

I want a Martini-Henry, ever since I saw Zulu when I was a kid.

Yup. As do I. And obviously. I did not include the modern arms, ya know. M14, M16, M4.

I just really hope SOCOM does not go to the SCAR (though my higher has already said some contingents have). The SCAR is a piece of crap.

GOD BLESS AMERICA... LAND THAT I LOVE!

With all due respect... That is one SWEET LOOKIN' PIECE! OH! and the side arm set up looks mighty sharp too!

The whole package truly bespeaks the essence of:

"Look... But DON'T TOUCH!"

Man... I'm thinkin' DESKTOP! OH! A Budwieser ad.

Just cause you are on a diet does not mean you can't look at the menu.

If I did not want people to look at my wife, then I would have married an ugly chick.

Well it seems that there will be an anti gun protest outside the gunshop/range I shoot and teach at today.

This should be interesting.

Id like to. But unfortunately that would only give the left more ammo to use against us.

Maybe, but you can bet your ass they'll never protest a shooting range again!
