One thing you can do is if you live innercity is to put one on the door of your mortal enemy, then stand back and wait about 15 seconds and watch him get pack-raped by minorities...

But for the true patroit you have to use it against the criminals. Lets say you think handguns are the best for home defense but your neighbor prefers a pump action shotgun well why not make it into a competition? arrange a set time and tune in your wrist watches to match then simultaneously place gun free zone signs on your doors you will almost instantly have a steady flow of robbers and rapists flying through all sides of your house. so get killin'! after an hour of intense home battle take of the signs which will immediatly cut of the flow. Then get together with your neighbor and count the bodies scoring should go like this:

-10 points for every kill.
-1 point deduction for every ahot over one required to bring them down.
-For every headshot multiply that bodies score by 3x

Don't forget to organise ahead of time any special parameters of other bonuses for your own individual spin of the game!

Tons of crime occurs in non-gun free zones as well. Just because gun-free zones aren't 100% perfect doesn't mean they actually attract crime. Your arguement is just nonsense and has no evidence to back it up.

Anyways, people with "I am a gun owner signs" on their front lawn are much worse off than those with "gun free signs." What happens is the criminal sees that the person owns guns, and its easier to target them. He waits for him to leave his home, and then takes all of the guns. Want to become a black market supplier of guns, well then put up one of those signs.

I wouldn't go as far as to say an unarmed citizenry is a powerful attractent for tyrants. It obviously would be a factor, but if it is "powerful" like you say, then why hasn't totalitarian and authoratians regimes popped up after strict gun control has been implimented.

Really? Then why is it that there are something like three or four times more muggings and assaults on the UNC campus than out in town?

Could it maybe have to do with the fact that in the state with the highest number of issued CCWs in the US, it is a gun free zone?
