Are americans allowed to form militias? It sais in the constitution were allowed for the security of a 'free state' to form one. In the turn of the millenia government control in america is creeping up to heights it's never reached before. One by one chains are being put down to hold back the natural flow of things. So are you allowed to start organising a militia? Can citizens interested in preserving liberty rally groups to march train and show of the might of the american people?

citizens are allowed to rally milities, but they cant have any guns or anything like that. usually picket signs will have to do.

There are militia members in all fifty states. Their numbers are in the thousands. Of course you are allowed to form militas.

They mainly came about (pretty recently actually) in the 1990's.

Not sure what you're talking about.

Wikipedia it. There are serious militias out there worried about the federal government taking away their freedoms and guns.
