"Anyone who believes that Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama will offer real reform in the next administration has been misled by the Democratic Party leadership and their shills in the media. Ms. Clinton and Mr. Obama are among the highest recipients of money from insurance firms, HMOs, and drug manufacturers [source: Center for Responsive Politics, http://www.opensecrets.org]," said Jody Grage, treasurer of the Green Party of the United States.

"Except for a handful who are marginalized by their own party, most Democratic candidates are running to prevent real health care reform. They intend to keep control over our health care in the hands of corporate insurance firms and HMOs who make their profits by denying treatment. That's why over 45 million Americans don't have health coverage and millions more can't get the treatment they need even though they have insurance," said Ms. Grage.
Hillary Clinton battled the insurance industry in a very public battle. The appearance of influence by the mere listing of donations is not enough to support the whackery spouted at that site.

Neither Obama, Clinton or any Green Party is in a position to pass health care reform on their own...and the one with the least influence is...yep...you get it....the Green Party,.

The Green Party will forever remain a fringe group until it drops the weird lingo and the phoney attitude.

too bad you didn't list a reasonable and rational alternative. I was willing to meet you half way.

I'm seeing a lot of labels thrown out but nothing to refute what the Green Party said. Typical.

There are plenty of great solutions to the Health Care problem. Of course, those solutions wouldn't make Government big enough to make Democrats happy, so don't expect a solution where anyone is better off from the democrats. (Not that I would feel comfortable with the Green party in the driver's seat)
