Default Obama using 9/11 to politicize Healthcare

http://www.redstate.com/california_y...ic-terrorists/

Quote:
Today, the Obama campaign folks sent out a notice to “grassroots” supporters about the planned 9/11″health care organizing event”:
Quote:
What day? Our US Senators return to DC the Tues after Labor Day. That next FRIDAY, Sep 11, is Patriot Day, designated in memory of the nearly three thousand who died in the 9/11 attacks.

All 50 States are coordinating in this – as we fight back against our own Right-Wing Domestic Terrorists who are subverting the American Democratic Process, whipped to a frenzy by their Fox Propaganda Network ceaselessly re-seizing power for their treacherous leaders

This is not only pathetic, but it is sick. For this administration to use 9/11 to try to claim that the right wing and fox news are terrorists is just plain sick.

9/11 is a day to honor the memories of those lost during the worst attack on our nations history...and this ogranizing for america is pulling this (*)(*)(*)(*)?

And you all wonder why we don't like Obama.

This man may be your president but he is not ours.

(*)(*)(*)(*)ing PATHETIC!!!! Go ahead and defend this (*)(*)(*)(*).

Organizing For America has already taken it off of their website, but not before a photo was taken of it. I'm thinking that whomever was responsible for posting it already had a good talking to by the rest of Obama's Nation.

Quote:
Obama’s Team Crosses the Rhetorical Line

(Update #2: Several readers have asked us whether this posting on barackobama.com was “user-generated” rather than a staff posting. From what we can tell, this may have been the case. Nevertheless, members of ‘Organizing for America’ in Illinois, North Carolina, Michigan and possibly other states were invited to this event without filter. Anything under the ‘Organizing for America’ banner that is distributed en masse is accountable to those who run the President’s perpetual campaign.

Which is the problem with a perpetual campaign. When you have campaign organizers attempting to assist the White House message, you end up in this situation. If one American received one email that led them to believe that the President shared these views, that is one too many.

This was not an ill-advised comment on a blog, but rather an organizing activity that used hateful language to describe the opposition. The President and his political advisors should immediately denounce this language and continue to remove it from their website. And they should immediately discontinue the use of the ‘Organizing for America’ website to remove any suspicion that the President shares these views. There is a time for campaigning, and a time for leading. Now is the time for the President to lead.)
I'm not too offended by Obama's Nation this time around. Being a veteran, I've already been labeled a "potential domestic terrorist" by Obama's Department of Homeland Security. It's just a matter of time before Obama's new CIA goon has me waterboarded for the heck of it, since Obama apparently isn't about protecting the American people anymore.

Politicians will politicize whatever they think helps forward the agenda that they believe to be best for the country.

People only seem to take offense to the politicization when their team is not the one in power.

BTW I am against health care, so I am not an Obama apologist.

I seem to remember a president that was absolutely obsessed with 9/11, and pretty much invoked it needlessly and shamefully, every time he wanted to shove some broken, get rich policy down our throats. Can anyone help us with this? I can't put my finger on who was doing this like such a rat, for about the last 7 years or so.

In his weekly radio address, Mr Bush reminded the American public of the national unity after 9/11 attacks, four years ago on Sunday.

“Today, America is confronting another disaster that has caused destruction and loss of life. This time the devastation resulted not from the malice of evil men, but from the fury of water and wind,” he said.

If you need more, they're very easy to find. It was pretty much in every speech, about every policy, the man ever gave for the last 7 years of his presidency.

So obama, like alqueda, will use 9/11 as a rallying call to advance his agenda.
I'm not surprised.

Does this counter the accusation by the OP?

You seem to be saying, yea, it's a bad thing to do, but you're guy did it too.

So what is the goal? You're both wrong?

We shouldn't play games that will inevitably end with nothing but losers.

I'm betting this will be the first 9/11 anniversary where what took place will be really downplayed by the mainstream media....as well as the Obama administration.

User generated content, not the administration- just like all the junk brought up during the election. Obviously Heritage would have known that, its curious they didn't get a photo just a little bit down the page that might have made that clear, or made it clear anyway- but then what use is that as a smear? 'Team Obama' and all that BS. Who listens to these manipulative tools?

To then argue to try and take down the entire site because of this is so blatantly opportunistic- and attacking it as 'permanent campaigning' as though they're not the corporatist flip-side. Hypocrites. This is what Obama has believed in for;years grassroots activism and organisation, and no amount of Conservative hyperbolic stupidity bares any relevance.

Seeing as this was deleted, supposedly by the site, wtf are you complaining about? You know its user generated and modded thereafter. What are they supposed to do, have an employee go over every single message before hand? Idiots.

But no, you'll propagate it like you have here, it'll enter the conservative mythology, and not a one of you will have the honor of admitting wrong. Just like with the ridiculousness you brought up Paco- the report was non-partisan, produced for your country's safety, but it was picked up and politicized for another, stupid smear. You know it was warning right-wing veterans would be targeted for recruitment- which is obvious and borne out- not labeling anyone. Christ, what an utterly poisoned political discourse you have over there- I mean its off the wall bat(*)(*)(*)(*) crazy right here.
